Fun with Paint - Zanizibar Refreshed!
Going Green is all the rage, right? Well there is nothing more green than recycling a bedding collection. Whether you are searching for a new bedding group that you hope will work for multiple kids or you are looking at the "old" bedding and wondering how to make it "new" again - Kids Line has some great gender neutral collections you should take a look at. The example we are showing here is our Zanzibar collection. This is one of our longest running best sellers and continues to be as popular today as it was when it first came out.
How to make it feel fresh again, you ask? We took a new look at Zanzibar to give you some tips. In this photo the wood floor got a rich dark (black) stain to it. Some people have painted their wood floors as well - be sure to look into more "how to" information before venturing down that path. The wall colors pick up from the bedding group with a lovely brick red accent wall that is well suited for a boy or a girl. The neutral cream on the other three walls ensures an attractive nursery without being too over the top.
We have shown a 2 in. grossgrain black ribbon on the wall that we have hung the wall hangings from. You could also get this effect with paint - be sure to use painter's tape to make your straight lines on the wall first.
You can go with black or brown furniture or mix it up in this nursery. A fun fake zebra pelt rug could give this a more modern look as well.
